Equine Lameness Exam with Gait Analysis

Service Description

An equine lameness examination includes a thorough investigation of both the level of lameness and the effects on the whole body. Palpation of leg, hoof testers, and flexion tests of the observed lame limb are used initially, but if there is no obvious cause, or multiple causes possible after thorough examination, then nerve blocks may be administered to localize the problem. Further investigations using our Equinosis software and high-end digital radiology or thermal camera may be necessary.
