Grand Opening Recap
What an incredible day we had during our grand opening! The weather was mild, and the energy was contagious as we welcomed friends, family, and clients to our new facility.
We began the event with tours of our modern space, showcasing upgraded amenities such as spacious examination rooms, our equine day spa, and a comfortable waiting area. Each corner of our clinic reflects our dedication to providing outstanding care for your pets. It was immensely rewarding to see the joy and excitement on the faces of everyone who attended.
Throughout the day, presenters covered a wide variety of topics focused on the latest in equine health. Our team appreciated connecting with all of you and listening to your stories about cherished pets.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. Your support means everything, and we’re thrilled to embark on this new journey together!
New appointment Protocol

As we transition to our new facility, we have implemented several protocols to streamline your experience. Here’s what you need to know:
Location: All appointments will take place in our new building. Please do not arrive at our home location.
Parking Instructions: For those with horse trailers, please drive around to the right, between the barn and the mare motel. Kindly pull around the barn and park facing the road (and our incredible view!) If you're in a car, please park facing the barn, to the right of the barn aisle.
Upon arrival, feel free to wait in our reception room or your vehicle until our staff arrives to greet you. We strive to maintain a calm atmosphere, so please refrain from interrupting Dr. Massie during appointments with other clients.
We believe these changes will significantly enhance your experience with us, and we appreciate your cooperation!

Lepto Awareness for Dogs

As we shift gears, it’s vital to discuss leptospirosis awareness for our canine companions. Lepto is a serious bacterial infection affecting dogs and can lead to severe health issues. Here are essential points every dog owner should know:
Transmission: Dogs can contract lepto through contaminated water, soil, or direct contact with infected animals. Periods of heavy rainfall, particularly during spring and fall, raise the chances of infection. Be alert when walking your dog near standing water!
Symptoms: Common symptoms include fever, vomiting, lethargy, and increased thirst. Should you observe any of these signs in your dog, it is crucial to contact us immediately for advice.
Prevention: Vaccination is the strongest line of defense against lepto. Ensure your dog’s lepto vaccine is current, especially if you often visit nature parks or areas with standing water that could harbor the bacteria.
Knowledge is power! By keeping an eye on your dog’s health and taking preventive measures, you can play a pivotal role in keeping them safe from this illness.
