SLEIP Ai is a gamechanger for subtle lameness detection and rehabilitation monitoring here at our clinic

Elevating Equine Care: Combining AI Motion Analysis with the Equinosis EQ Lameness Locator

We're thrilled to announce a significant enhancement to our diagnostic and rehabilitation capabilities! We're now integrating cutting-edge AI-powered motion analysis through the Sleip app with our trusted Equinosis EQ Lameness Locator sensors. This powerful combination is set to revolutionize how we identify lameness and, crucially, how we document patient improvements throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Unveiling and Tracking Subtle Lameness

Understanding a horse's movement is fundamental to their health, but subtle lameness can be incredibly challenging to pinpoint. The Sleip app uses advanced AI to track over 100 anatomical key points on a moving horse, providing stride-by-stride analysis that quantifies gait asymmetry and detects even the smallest irregularities in minutes. This means we can now:

  • Quickly and objectively identify lameness with unprecedented precision.

  • Establish a baseline for each horse's unique movement patterns.

  • Detect issues at their earliest stages, often before they become chronic problems.

When combined with the objective data from our Equinosis EQ Lameness Locator, we're gaining an even more comprehensive picture of your horse's soundness.

Objective Documentation for Rehabilitation Success

This new technology isn't just about identifying problems; it's also a game-changer for documenting progress in rehabilitation plans. With Sleip, we can easily compare asymmetry measurements before and after interventions like physiotherapy, training adjustments, or other treatments. This provides:

  • Objective data to evaluate the impact of our rehabilitation programs.

  • Clear, visual documentation of patient improvement over time.

  • Enhanced communication with owners, showing tangible results.

By integrating AI motion analysis, we're moving beyond subjective observations, providing you with concrete evidence of your horse's recovery and progress. It's about ensuring evidence-based decision-making and empowering both horse and owner on the path to optimal health and performance.
